ok so last night i almost cried at work
why
i walked into my patient room
saw lil kids drawings taped to the wall
one was of a lil girl holding her dad's hand
labeled me and dad
under an apple tree
stick people and all in marker and the picture said
"get better daddy NOW PLEASE"
i had to leave and cool out for a bit
car accidents are a terrible thing
even if you wear your seat belt
