so it occured to me last week that there's no way i can go out and work the next day
my charge nurses are having me take care of really really really sick polytrauma patients
its so crazy we have every drug known to man to control everything about you
paralyze them so they can calm the fck down YES
make them not remember what's being done to them YES
take the pain away OH HELL YEAH
control the blood pressure FCKIN SCARY
list goes on an on
and who gets to control those drugs
the nurse aka me
the blood pressure is down increase the drug
they are moving to much
increase the drug to make them even more sedated
I swear the power
It's like a freakin math problem
but it last's 13 hours long
anyways

today i got to assist in drilling a hole in a patient's head
i got to shave
and
i passed the instruments

anywho

kinda glad i stayed in tonite
